Asparagus Omelette & Turkey Bacon

Eggs are so great for energy and best way to start off the day. Omelettes are not difficult to make, they just take a little lovin'. To make an omelette for one person you will need to whisk up two eggs (the more eggs you add the thicker the omelette will be) and add it to a medium hot non stick frying pan either sprayed with some oil or add a bit of butter or margarine to make sure it doesn't stick. The fun part is adding what you want to your omelette. I usually settle for some grated cheese, spinach, mushrooms, and dried herbs except today I added some fried asparagus. Just add your asparagus to a frying pan with a bit of olive oil, salt, and pepper to get the asparagus soft. Be creative with your omelettes!

To keep up with the theme of cutting out bad sugars, try turkey bacon! Not only is it super low in fat and taste great, but it also has no sugar. The best part I like about turkey bacon is that it doesn't make a mess on my stove! So try it out in place of bacon and pair it up with a great omelette and some fruit for a great start to your day.
