A shout out thanks to my sister for giving me this great idea to do a 'challenge.' So what's the challenge all about? Well, it's going to be a 4 week challenge and each week will have a theme and recipes to go with that theme. Here is the break down:
Take the Challenge
Week 1 - How to cut down on the 'bad' sugar in your cooking and baking.
Week 2 - How to replace using oil in your cooking and baking.
Week 3 - How to get more fiber into your cooking and baking.
Week 4 - How to get your children to eat more fruits and veggies.
Each week I will hunt down for some good recipes to try out and share with you which will go along with each theme. I'm not a health expert by any means but thought it would be fun to help others and myself in cooking better and being more healthful.
So tomorrow I will be getting our weekly grocery order and will be mindful of our first challenge which will be cutting down on 'bad' sugars. Tonight I will search for some great recipes that will still taste good even with little to no sugar. Please feel free to share your recipes or links to some low sugar creations!
